Sales Associate

​Company Description:  Reynolds Farms is a family owned and operated, full-service garden center, offering annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs and much more! We are open year-round serving lower Fairfield County.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting customers with all aspects of the garden center

  • Plant staging and maintenance

  • Assisting in receiving and moving plant material (some lifting required)

  • Maintaining nursery stock, greenhouse and store displays

  • Daily watering

  • Daily customer service with a point-of-sale system and answering phones

  • Keeping sales area and greenhouses clean

Successful qualities:

  • Motivated, reliable, self-starter; comfortable completing tasks on your own

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Great communication skills

  • Enjoy interacting with people on a regular basis. You should be a people person!

  • Have an interest in and a desire to learn about plants

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Enjoy working outside in a variety of weather conditions

  • Daytime and weekend availability

Pluses:

  • Retail sales experience

  • Horticultural experience

 

Positions are part-time, seasonal. Some weekends required. Competitive compensation.

Nursery & Landscape Associate

Company Description:  Reynolds Farms is a family owned and operated, full-service garden center, offering Planting and Landscape services, Firewood, spring and summer annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs and much more! We are open year-round serving lower Fairfield County.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting & Overseeing Landscape Installations

  • Providing customer planting services for purchased items.

  • Delivery of nursery & garden center products including mulch, topsoil, plants, bagged goods, Firewood, Christmas trees

  • Nursery operations including maintaining nursery stock, displays, loading & unloading vendor deliveries

  • Firewood Production

  • Winter maintenance of equipment and nursery operations.

Successful qualities:

  • Motivated, reliable self-starter

  • Prior nursery or landscaping experience

  • Horticultural knowledge a plus

  • Must speak English; knowledge of Spanish a plus

  • Experience with trucks and heavy equipment (ie; forklifts, plows, wood processing equipment, etc.)

  • Experience managing a crew

This is a Full-Time position offering:
